How To Make Burasa

At this time, I want to share a recipe that tastes very delicious for those of you who like to practice cooking. I will introduce a typical food recipe from South Sulawesi often called Burasa.


Burasa


Burasa is a typical food from the region of South Sulawesi. Burasa made with a mixture of rice and coconut milk and other spices, made with elongated in Banana leaves. Usually people in South Sulawesi, presents this burasa along with other foods such as Coto, Meatballs, Konro Soup, etc. And if you want to make a delicious Burasa by your selves, this the way how to make it. 

To make Burasa, we must prepare the materials that will be needed. First, prepare 1 liter of quality rice. Then take some bay leaves that have been washed clean, then prepare 3/4 liter of coconut milk and salt to taste. To wrap it up, grab some banana leaves and straps for the binder.

Ok guys, After we prepare the ingredients. Here we go to the way of making it ^^

First, we take and wash the rice with water until it is completely clean, until the water of the wash looks clear and then drain it. Then steam the well-washed rice until it's half cooked, lift it and put it into the basin. Second, pour coconut milk and add salt, then enter the bay leaf, stirring until evenly with rice that is half cooked until coconut milk absorbed. Then, steam back the stirred rice with coconut milk until cooked and tender for about 15-20 minutes, then remove. Third, take cooked rice that has been steamed sufficiently then wrap with banana leaf and tied with rope 3-4 ties and do this process to complete. Lastly, steam the rice again that has been wrapped for 40 minutes, then lift and ready to be served.
