Story Line:

                    The film tells of the struggle of a father who was eager to see his three children 

succeed and have a mark on their food storage. Libhy and Buck had managed to give the 

same sign as his father and mother. Little Arlo who does not have the same ability with his 

two siblings still has not succeeded in marking their food storage. Henry or Poppy their 

father's nickname continues to provide direction and motivation to his youngest child Arlo 

who has an excessive fear and is very difficult to eliminate. Stage by stage that the father 

did for his son, it still has not managed to make Arlo brave. One day, there was a human

 child who apparently stole their food, the father assigned Arlo the task of catching the thief

 by teaching various traps, and finally the trap caught the thief. However, Arlo is afraid to kill

 the creature according to his father's command because the creature is creepy, finally Arlo let go and let the creature run away.

               His father was very angry with Arlo act for letting the creature's escape. He also 

invites Arlo to pursue and capture the creature. With over rocks and river so wide and long,

 they continue to follow the footprints of the creature until it lost the trail, his father told Arlo's 

faster, but Arlo fell and sprained his foot. His father felt guilty, but he did all this simply just 

want to get rid of the fear inherent in Arlo. He also invites Arlo to return home because the

 weather is bad. However, any adverse events that happened to him. Huge waves came and

 father was ordered to quickly Arlo ran and left that place. Bad luck befell turns Arlo's father 

brought a large flow that makes drifting and died.

               After his father died, Arlo was very sad and frightened when he saw and heard the

 lightning. One time he saw the creature again and he was eager to kill him because of 

chasing him he had to lose his father. Day in and day out, Arlo goes through all that alone 

with all kinds of obstacles. But strangely enough, every Arlo in trouble must be there to help 

him and it turns out to be Spot, the creature he's been wanting to kill. After a long time

 together, they are already familiar and need each other. The obstacles after the obstacles 

they went through, the dangers of the evil beings, all of which made Arlo begin to have the 

courage to fight him. The storm that initially made Arlo was frightened, but the storm also 

made him a brave and tough boy. All that because he wanted to save his friend is Arlo who 

almost drifted carried away streams. Advice and struggle of the father was not in vain, 

because finally Arlo managed to become a brave boy and managed to make a mark in the 

storage of their food right next to the sign of his father and mother.

           

Review:

               In my opinion, this film is very interesting to watch because it is very educative and 

provide a lot of inspiration through scenes played by the characters in it. Especially the figure

 of Father and Arlo. From the character of the father, we can take the lesson that in giving 

spirit and motivation to others, we can not be half-centered. However, Arlo's role gives more 

inspiration to his audience because Arlo, who initially has an excessive fear, can finally 

overcome his fear through the obstacles and failures he passes. Well, from this story, we can 

learn that the fear that we have to start something new can we eliminate by continuing to try 

something. And the failures that we pass, can be used as a motivation to be more courageous 

again in trying new things. And what's interesting in this movie is also the beautiful scenery, 

the big mountain, and the vast expanse of ocean and give the impression as it is in this film is 

a group of people who live in a small family.
