How to Make Buras / Burasa
        
               Buras or burasa is one of the specialties of south Sulawesi which has a more savory taste like uduk rice, but buras wrapped in banana leaves like rice cake. Buras is a food made with a blend of rice and coconut and other spices. As for the material used is 500 grams of rice, wash and drain,1 liter of coconut milk,2 bay leaves,3 banana leaf,2 tsp salt, Some raffia ties to bind (made small).
            And how to make burasa is the first of all laying banana leaves by drying or put down on a small flame until it melts and slightly changes color, after that scissor up to be several sheets of the same size. Also prepare a rope to bind, then boiled coconut milk, bay leaves, and salt while stirring until boiling. Enter the washed rice while stirring occasionally until all the coconut milk is absorbed and half cooked. Turn off the fire and let stand for a moment. Take 1 sheet of banana leaves that have been cut out then fill with rice coconut milk that has been in the earlier, then fold and set aside, do until everything is filled. Next tie into one for every two packs of rice that has been wrapped by way of facing each other, tie with raffia ropes on each end. In addition, boil water in a large enough pan and enter the buras that have been tied and boiled for approximately 3-4 hours. If it is ripe, the leaf color will change and will look shiny. Then lift, drain, then wait until it cools so the buras become solid and solid. Buras is ready to serve.



How to Make Chicken Soup
 
               Chicken soup is food available in each area that has a taste that is delicious and 
tasty. The materials used are 1 chicken, 2 stalks of lemongrass (fry), 1 segment of galangal 
finger (crushing), 3 bay leaves, 3 orange leaves, Salt (to taste), Pepper (to taste), 
Flavoring (to taste, if desired), 3 tablespoons of cooking oil, 2 liters of water, 1 cup 
cabbage (thinly sliced), 250 gr bean sprouts (hot water flush), 50 gr of soun (hot water 
soak), 3 eggs (boiled and halved), 1 spring onion, 2 grains of tomato, and for refined 
spices are 6 shallots onion, 4 cloves of garlic, 1 segment of ginger finger, 1 segment of
turmeric finger,  5 candlenuts.
 
            And how to make soup chicken the first process is wash the chicken thoroughly, then blend or 
subtle seasoning. Heat cooking oil in a pan and saute the finely ground spices until fragrant, put water, chicken, lemongrass, galangal, bay leaf, and lime leaves. Cook over low heat until the chicken is cooked. Drain the cooked chicken, then cut into small pieces of cooked chicken meat. Prepare the bowl, then put 
the chicken pieces before, soun, bean sprouts, sliced ​​cabbage, tomato egg and spring onion. Next pour the hot gravy into the bowl. And soup is ready to be served with the buras.




How to Make Red Cake (traditional cake)
               
               Red cake is one of the traditional cake that comes from Kajang, the materials used 
are red sugar, rice flour, water, sesame, wok made of steel, stove and tongs. 
              First, soak the rice about 5-10 hours, then drain and dry. Then grind the rice into flour, then grab the already smooth flour and stir using clean hands. After a long stirring, add the brown sugar that has been mashed until blended with the flour evenly, add water bit by bit until it forms a chewy dough, after the dough unite, let stand in one container and wait until it is completely united. Next add the sesame (according to taste) and let stand for approximately-12 hours. After that, prepare the pan and oil and fry the dough until it is cooked, and the red cake is ready to be enjoyed.
